Music for the documentary Insha’Allah Democracy

Toni Martin has written the music for the documentary Insha’Allah Democracy by director Mohammed Naqvi.

In the documentary Naqvi tries to find a worthy political candidate for the presidential election in Pakistan but the choice is between a series of doubtful candidates, among them the controversial ex-dictator Pervez Musharraf.

Insha’Allah Democracy raises the question if a stabile democracy is possible in a muslim country. Naqvi investigates the different political parties of Pakistan’s government and their intentions and tries to find out who want what is best for the people and who just want power and personal gain. The documentary gives a unique insight to the politics of Pakistan and one of its key figures General Pervez Musharraf.

Insha’Allah Democracy is currently being shown on film festivals around the world, for example DOC NYC in USA, International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam in The Netherlands and Films From The South Festival in Norway.
